Wooden stilts are great traditional fun! How good were you on stilts? Ambition to run off to the circus - set them up and see how far you can go on your wooden stilts!! The secret (we recently discovered at a circus workshop!) is to step through the stilts from behind and tuck them under your arms - this gives stability and you will soon be dancing on yours!!

These are, 150cm long, and have 6 different hight adjustments. The stilts are made from solid ash wood. The fitting to connect the footplate with the stilt is located completely inside (see small picture)for saftey and strength.

Made by one of our favourite german toymakers who specialises in making fabulous wooden toys.

These are childrens stilts - grown ups can use them to demonstrate how its done (we do!) but we do not reccommend them for regular adult use. Teenagers are fine!

Children can start to use these stilts from 6 to 7 years old with some adult help, and we predict they will continue to have fun for at least as many years again!
