Kirigami is similar to origami in that it is a form of paper art. The major difference is that in origami, you fold paper whereas in kirigami, you fold and cut paper.

Most people know this technique through making snowflakes at Christmas or paper doilies - you probably didn't realise it was related to origami!

These are great easy to do anywhere kits for kids and a great introduction to paper folding - origami and cutting.
