Holztiger wooden toys are all handmade and hand painted in Europe. Their huge choice of wooden animals, trees, buildings and vehicle toys provides an enormous range of different toy collections and creative scenes for children.  

From howling wolves and preening peacocks to wooden toy knights in shining painted armour and one-legged wooden pirates, there is a wooden toy to please everybody in this great range.   

This enormous array of classic wooden toys means that collections of figures and buildings can be built up over the years "My son received the Holztiger Wooden Noah’s Ark as a christening gift- he’s now six and we could make a zoo out of the animals in the play room!  It is still a fabulous gift that he adores and enjoys playing with "

There really is no ‘age range’ for Holztiger products- for children the toys are a way to awaken a desire for exploration and discovery, play out dreams and to learn by exploring different environments, for adults, the quality and beauty of the wooden toys are something to wonder at.

All the toys are handmade made completely of wood and so are free from pollutants and are a sustainable raw material. The ‘unbreakable’ quality of the wooden toys is a huge contrast to the more common flimsy, plastic and certainly ‘breakable’ toy animals available; a Holztiger toy can be passed down the generations, which means the toys are environmentally friendly too!

The bright colours of the wooden figures and animals are painted with water based acrylic paints, which are completely non toxic and every wooden toy is completed with a coat of satin finish water paint, which means that if the ducks take a quick swim in the bath the colours won’t fade!
