Harriet Stapleton established Ptolemy Toys in July 2006 when her two children were 3 and 4 years old. As a mother Harriet had fallen in love with some of the wonderful toys she had found for Augustus and Hebe whilst travelling in Germany and other European countries and wondered why it was not easier to buy them in the UK.

Concentrating on great toys that fulfil the basic criteria of being great to play with, bring with them a sense of nostalgia, are environmentally friendly and encourage family fun Ptolemy Toys has great toys for children from birth to 99!  We try really hard to source toys from Europe to cut down the environmental impact and ensure we are as Eco friendly as we can be, and we look for suppliers who share the same values as Ptolemy too.

Current ranges include Silke, Haba, Holztiger, Kathe Kruse, Schuco, Frilly Lilly, Schuco and other great toymakers who are passionate about what they do! We are constantly expanding our range to bring you something new.
